Want to do a string search of the history log? First prompt the DSPLOG command. Then enter the time and date range...

you would like to search. Specify *PRINT for the OUTPUT parameter. This will create a spooled file of the history log for that date and time range. Next, work with your spooled output. Select option 5 to display the data in the spooled file. Now you can use the search function to find a particular sting. Remember it is case sensitive.
