Most companies do not want all numbers used for passwords. If controlling password restrictions by system values (no exit pgms, etc.) and the value of QPWDLMTAJC is set to 0, via the CHGPWD command this can be accomplished by simply preceding the numbers with a "Q." Example: CHGPWD to Q123456 and signing on with 123456 will work.
Note: All numbers can be restricted by keeping system value QPWDLMTAJC at 0 and changing QPWDLMTCHR to include Q.
