Outq clean up using ROBOT

This tip shows you how to use ROBOT Schedule to create a job that cleans specific outq's in "X" amount of days.

Using ROBOT Schedule you can create a job that cleans specific outq's in "X" amount of days. Create a new job and on the ROBOT command line type:

AGEOUTQ OUTQ(xxxxxxx) LIBR(xxxxxxx) AGELMT(# OF DAYS TO KEEP OUTPUT)

So, an actual command would read:

AGEOUTQ OUTQ(BPCSOUTQ) LIBR(BPCDUSR610) AGELMT(30)

Type a command line for each outq you want "cleaned", including IBM outq's. Set job to run daily.
