It is a good idea to create your own PSF Configuration for each type of model of printer that is attached to your system. When using a 4312, I have it attached to PSFPRT4312. When using a Lex1125, I have it attached to PSFPRT1125. This allows certain changes that will work with some models and not others. When adding a new model of printer, you will not interfere with your current settings and will allow for special configurations -- printer specific. It is also a good idea to create your PSF configurations in library QGPL. IBM supplied PSFs are created in QUSRSYS and could get removed during an OS upgrade.
