Delete job spool files quickly

This tip explains how to delete job spool files without entering an Option 8.

If you have a completed job that has a large number of spooled files and you entered the command to work with submitted jobs (WRKSBMJOB), you can enter option 4 to end the job even though the job is completed. Press F4 to prompt and enter "yes" to delete spool files. This will delete all the spooled files without having to enter an option 8 to work with spooled file and individually deleting the spool file.
