Daily checks for user profiles
Re-enable user profiles through macros, check out this tip for details.
I get fed up with the numerous telephone calls each morning from users who have disabled their iSeries 400 passwords and cannot sign on, so as soon as I get in I run 2 macros, which I assigned icons on my client access toolbar. These macros check for disabled profiles and also for invalid sign on attempts. From these macros I can re-enable the user profiles - often before the user even notices it was disabled and also track possible breaches of security.
