Here is the tip to check if the Page Skip & Page Space that you have given in your report layout.

Here is the tip to check if the Page Skip & Page Space that you have given in your report layout. You need not take an actual printout of the report to check the above. All you have to do is the following.

1. Run the report program to create your spooled output.
2. Use WRKSPLF command and option 5 to view your spooled output. Type +1 against the Control Field. The Page/Line field at the extreme right of the screen will display Page number/ line number of the data that appears on top the report. Press enter repeatedly to find out the Page Number/line number of subsequent lines. Through this you can verify the page skipping & page spacing of your report without having to print the report.
