Linoma announces new release of Transfer Anywhere

Linoma Software announced a significant new release of its Transfer Anywhere product, Version 1.3.0, which supports Open PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) certificates to encrypt and/or sign documents within your FTP, e-Mail and IFS (Local) distributions.

Open PGP technology combines the best features of both conventional and public key cryptography to provide a high degree of protection when exchanging messages and data. Transfer Anywhere utilizes private and public keys from standard key stores (key rings), making it very simple to implement and administer encryption within Transfer Anywhere. Encryption Keys can be specified for e-mail recipients, FTP servers and even the iSeries IFS.

Transfer Anywhere Version 1.3.0 also includes an enhanced Distribution process to enable e-mail transmission of both FTP and IFS (Local) directories and files. FTP and IFS (Local) files can be selected through multiple methods including: direct entry of file name, browsing the FTP / IFS (Local) directory and selecting specific files, or through the use of wildcards. When selecting multiple FTP / IFS (Local) files, you now have the option to compress these files into a zip file for minimizing transfer size.

Other timesaving features added within Transfer Anywhere Version 1.3.0 include the ability to quickly create a new transfer from a copy of an existing definition and an enhanced user interface for executing transfers.

Transfer Anywhere converts almost ANY DATA into almost ANY FORMAT and transfers it to almost ANY DESTINATION…. with no custom programming and no additional tools. Transfer Anywhere is an enterprise level solution that provides a flexible and expandable framework that can grow with the needs of the organization.

A free 30-day trial of Transfer Anywhere is available. Additionally, if you purchase both Surveyor/400 and Transfer Anywhere by Sept. 30, you'll get 30 percent off the list price of both products.
