Iemagine adds SpeedWork to its ASP suite

The SpeedWork Company in Sudbury, Mass. and Chicago-based iemagine announced an agreement to add SpeedWork, a Domino-based work-management application, to iemagine's Rent & Ready Instant Webware Suite for ASP deployment. Under iemagine's Author-IT program, the company will port SpeedWork to the Lotus Hosting Management System (LHMS) for ASP delivery on IBM's eServer iSeries platform. Iemagine will then distribute SpeedWork as part of its ASP-in-a-Box reseller bundle of Rent & Ready Instant Webware.

Iemagine has also announced that it will enhance SpeedWork for multilingual support in 15 European and Asian languages. The company will also offer SpeedWork as a "convertible" solution, enabling customers to begin using SpeedWork as a rented, Web-deployed solution, and then convert to a standalone, licensed edition if appropriate for their business.



Sedona earns advanced business partner designation

Sedona Corp., King of Prussia, Pa., announced that it is strengthening its relationship with IBM and has been designated an IBM Advanced Business Partner in IBM's PartnerWorld Program for Developers. SEDONA and IBM's Midmarket Banking, Finance, and Securities Group (BFS) have an agreement under which IBM will market SEDONA's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution - Intarsia- to its customers to run on IBM systems. While available for the past year on NT and Unix platforms, Intarsia is currently in beta testing on the IBM iSeries platform. Intarsia is designed for community financial institutions. Intarsia allows financial institutions to uncover and track sales opportunities, analyze customer, household and product profitability, and develop and assess marketing campaigns over a wireline or wireless network.

ShowCase Enhances Strategy by incorporating Hyperion Essbase 6.1

ShowCase , Chicago, Ill., announced the general availability of Essbase 6.1 through ShowCase Strategy 4.1, an upgraded version of the company's integrated data warehousing and business intelligence solution for iSeries 400 organizations. ShowCase offers all the latest enhancements to Hyperion Solutions' OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) solution. In addition, ShowCase exclusively offers Intelligent Sparse Reporting, a feature designed to optimize performance for Essbase databases that contain a high degree of sparsity. Combined, these enhancements make analysis virtually instantaneous, providing users with immediate access to information regarding business performance. In turn, corporations can make rapid, well-informed business decisions based on accurate data.
