 Braxtel Communications, a developer of next-generation customer contact solutions, based in Boxborough, Mass., announced that, in conjunction with IBM, it will hold a series of seminars in the U.K and Ireland. The seminar series, called "Unlock the Power of Your AS/400," is designed to help attendees learn how to leverage the data in the AS/400 database more effectively throughout the organization. During the seminars, Braxtel will demonstrate how to utilize Fluency and AS/400 to protect existing investments and increase productivity, management and control. Other topics will also be discussed.

Konica partners with Barr Systems to provide an off-host printing solution

Digital imaging solutions provider,Konica Business Technologies, Inc., Windsor, Conn., announced a partnership with Barr Systems. This relationship will provide a high-performance host printing and print management solution called the Barr Enterprise Print Server (BEPS), an off-host software/hardware solution targeted toward data center environments, central reprographics departments (CRD), plus mid-range and mainframe host environments. This off-host printing solution combines the power of BEPS with Konica's line of digital printers, providing Windows NT-based input/output print and document management solutions that maximize customers' investments in network applications. These solutions can receive data from multiple sources such as AS/400, mainframes, Unix host, or network users.

Vision Solutions announces enterprise data replication product

Vision Solutions, an information availability management company based in Irvine, Calif., launched a new version of its enterprise data replication product-- SYMBIATOR V3.0. The cross-platform software solution is designed to help enterprises share critical business information across different systems, networks and languages. SYMBIATOR works across ODBC-supported relational databases, including: IBM DB2/400, Microsoft SQL Server and Access, Oracle, Progress Software, Informix and Sybase.

QAD, a provider of applications for global manufacturing enterprises and their private exchanges, announced that it is now delivering B2B commerce across multiple platforms for manufacturers and suppliers as a result of their strategic alliance with IBM announced last October. Now available, QAD eQTM B2B applications work with IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite to receive orders placed on Ariba Buyer and intelligently route them to multiple back-end ERP applications running on IBM eServer pSeries, iSeries and xSeries.


ShowCase broadens business intelligence offerings with new business-to-business analytic CRM solution

 ShowCase, a provider of enterprise intelligence solutions and a division of SPSS, expanded its business intelligence offerings with the launch of the ShowCase Customer Focus Suite, an end-to-end analytic customer relationship management (CRM) solution. This solution is designed to help business-to-business organizations improve profitability by helping them analyze and improve their relationships with customers. The Customer Focus Suite, which runs on the IBM the AS/400 and iSeries platform and on Windows NT, allows the integration of financial, operational and sales and marketing data. This allows B2B organizations to transition from simply accumulating customer data to predicting and measuring customer value, behavior, profitability and performance.
