Voxware's VoiceLogistics system ready

Voxware, Inc. announced today they have completed and received certification by IBM (NYSE: IBM) of their VoiceLogistics(TM) system for the family of IBM Netfinity(R) servers. In November, Voxware announced a relationship with the Consulting Practice of IBM Global Services. Through this relationship, IBM will offer consulting and implementation services for Voxware's speech-based VoiceLogistics supply chain solution. Voxware is committed to continue working with IBM through their PartnerWorld for Developers program This program gives qualified developers access to a range of IBM marketing and technical resources, including options for technical support for IBM eServers(1), iSeries Web servers, pSeries and zSeries mainframes, as well as porting and enablement services through IBM's Solution Partnership Centers. Voxware plans to provide a VoiceLogistics solution for the IBM AS/400 platform by early Summer 2001.

Timberland goes with Proginet's CyberFusion

Proginet Corp., maker of password management software and Internet file transfer software, announced today that The Timberland Company has deployed Proginet's CyberFusion technology to harness the benefits of Internet data exchange for its large enterprise file transfers. This technology allows Timberland to cut transfer speeds by 97 percent from one half hour to under sixty seconds. Using CyberFusion, connected worldwide via a VPN (virtual private network) in a Windows NT network, Timberland was able to leverage Internet-based secure data exchange for the automated movement of critical data.
