iWork and Software Solutions team up

iWork Software of Greensboro, N.C. has entered into a marketing agreement with Software Solutions, Inc. of Owasso, Okla., a provider of custom and turnkey e-commerce solutions native on the AS/400 for all industries. iWork offers Integrated Solutions Partnerships to build alliances with system integrators who can use iWork's products to quickly and effectively integrate disparate systems for their clients. Under the agreement, Software Solutions will recommend and service the iWork Business Integration suite and related products in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Arkansas, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, West Virginia, and southern Pennsylvania.

DataMirro discounts Transformation Server software

DataMirror Corp.announced it is offering special discounted prices on license fees for its Transformation Server software products through Dec. 20, 2000. The DataMirror offer is available in conjunction with IBM's AS/400e Extreme Business software and hardware promotion. Effective immediately, customers purchasing a new IBM iSeries or Model 170, 270, 7xx or 8xx AS/400e along with DataMirror Transformation Server software will be eligible to receive discounts between 10% and 25% on the DataMirror software purchase as well as a 5% or 10% rebate from IBM on their hardware purchase.

PentaSafe unleashes Web-based teaching tool for security

PentaSafe of Houston recently released VigilEnt Policy Center, a Windows-based application that delivers security-related content and training to workers over a Web browser. QIS out with dev tools for updating programs

QIS International Ltd. of Sunderland, England has announced the launch of new software development tools � GenProTec � that are to provide a means of easily creating and updating software programs for the AS/400. It ensures the computer systems are capable of storing, accessing and analyzing the ever-increasing amounts of data required. They will also allow business managers to act on more accurate and relevant information to help in the decision making process within a company, according to a QIS press release.
