Windows XP and Client Access

We have an iSeries (V4R5) that we are using Client Access V3R1M0 or V3R1M1 on. The connections are to either Windows 95/98 or Windows XP machines. The XP machine seems to have a conflict with Client Access. Do you have any ideas as to why?

Sadly Windows XP is not supported under Client Access original -- you must use Client Access Express in XP.

See support chart here.
