I am using the QUSLOBJ API in a program. I need the size and date, so I am using the OBJL0700 format. I get all the data except the date fields don't contain valid data. I checked to see if the field was defined incorrectly, but I can't make head or tail of the data in the field. I took the DS from QSYSINC lib; we are on V4R3M0 with the latest CUM. What am I missing?
Not knowing what date you are looking for, some fields returned will not have valid data in them. If you retrieve the user space and place it in your data structure, sometimes it won't load correctly. If you peek at the positions you want by using a pointer, it is much faster and less chance for errors.
