Using the SNDDST command

Using the SNDDST command. I'm using the SNDDST command without any problems. My problem is the PFile that is transferred to address X is being received as a .DAT file. When the person opens the .DAT file it's not in a readable form. If I use the traditional data transfer from the iSeries command and specify ASCII, when I open the text file from my C: drive, the file is perfect.

Use the CPYTOIMPF or CPYTOSTMF to place it in the IFS and convert it to ASCII first. Then attach it to your distribution.
