I have a prospect that is used to running Crystal Reports on a PC. Do Crystal Reports work on accessing data on an iSeries machine? Are there any specific things we would need to know before we could tell the prospect that it would work?
Yes, there are many iSeries customers using Crystal Reports against iSeries databases. You would need the iSeries Access ODBC driver installed on the PC where Crystal Reports will run. The Crystal Reports knowledge base has information on iSeries specific settings that can be used.
