Is it possible to print a JPG/PDF of a scanned image from the IFS to an IPDS printer? I have been investigating AFPRSC and the comments on here seem mixed on whether this will work.
AFPRSC does work – I have used it. I have not found the implementation to be perfect – I've run into some issues with scaling, positioning, etc. But if your basic task is to print a .jpg or .pdf file that you have placed into the IFS, it will work OK. The appropriate IBM reference point is AFPRSC (AFP Resource) keyword in printer files.
