Tracking a user's logged on time

We are having some overtime issues and have question regarding how long people are working. I would like to help by providing the times a user signed on and off. I know that I can have a sign on program for a user and log something there, but what about when they sign off? Is there a better way to track an employee's time?

This looks like a good opportunity to use Job Accounting. With Job Accounting turned on, you can see exactly how long a user has been signed on, and get further details about what he was doing. I refer you to the IBM Support Document #4292031, available through iSeries Support Knowledge Base. This document will show you what you need to do to get Job Accounting setup on your system.
