Time to clean up unused files

I want to clean up files I do not use, especially SAVF files. My disk space is getting smaller and smaller. I can purge some of the files, but I would like to know if there are files on my system I can do without.
One way to clean up save files, especially from IBM is to apply PTFs permanently. Once PTFs are permanently applied, the save files are deleted. However, be sure that you perform a SAVSYS before applying the PTFs permanently to create a restore point should a PTF go bad or something else happen. Also, be sure to follow the recommendations of IBM for applying PTF's permanently.
