We currently run an old CISC iSeries 400 running V3R2 host software and Client Access V3R1M2 (the latest available for this particular iSeries).
We are moving to Windows 2000 on workstations and do not propose to change the iSeries 400 for 12 months or so.
When installing this version of Client Access it causes problems with added printers. Right clicking on a printer to display its properties causes a problem in explorer.exe. Explorer shuts down and restarts.
Unfortunately, your Client Access version does not support Windows 2000 or Wndows XP (and it will never be supported). That means you will end up with "unpredictable results" when using CA V312 and Windows 2000. See compatibility statement here.
