I'm planning a test migration on my database on the iSeries. I'm using a tool called r3load. My database is 400 gig. Instead of creating my export flat files on the iSeries, I would like to mount a shared directory that is actually sitting on my Windows 2000 server -- on my iSeries. I would like to write the files to this shared directory on the Windows 200 server. I was told about QNTC. I have checked and it is on my system. How do I go about doing this?
QNTC can help you be defining the nt drivew as a "virtual directory" on the iSeries. This link contains specific instructions to set up qntc on the nt in the IPCS, but these instructions are valid for non ipcs nt also.
