We have multiple customers on our system (no LPAR) and we don't want them to be able to view another customer's JOBSCDE's. Is there any way to secure JOBSCDE's with an authorization list?
You cannot secure individual entries within the job scheduler that's shipped with OS/400. You can obviously secure the commands that deal with the job scheduler and not let them work with the job scheduled entries at all. However, that might not be very practical. The more practical option might be to not give users *JOBCTL special authority. That way, users will only be able to see the details of the entries that they have added themselves. *JOBCTL allows them to see all entries.
