Reading two files with the same name

I need to read two files with the same name, but in different libraries. I know I have to use OVRDBF but I must not be using it properly. Please give me a hint at what I might be doing wrong?

Here's an easy solution. In your RPG program, rename one of the files to be a non-existent name. Let you library list find the one with the real name and then do an OVRDBF from the non-existent name in your RPG program to the file/LIBRARY of the other file. Compile your RPG program with the override still in effect. For this instance, it is probably easier to just compile your RPG program interactively. When you call the program for real, make sure you have your override in effect.
