Reaching the limit of QINACTITV

I've not been able to find a way for a program to be invoked when an interactive session reaches the limit of QINACTITV. We would like to have this capability. How can we accomplish this?

Try looking at the QINACTMSGQ system value. This system value allows you to specify the name of a message queue that can then be programmatically monitored. There's an example of this type of program in the programming manual available from the IBM InfoCenter. The QINACTITV system value determines the number of minutes a job can sit "idle" before the action defined in the QINACTMSGQ system value is taken.
