What is the best way to prevent batch job's running in the interactive environment. We have numerous users that have the authority to move their jobs around and they keep putting these into qinter jobq so they will run immediately. Is it the routing data that needs to be changed?
I've had to deal with this problem also. Some users just get so impatient when it comes to running THEIR batch jobs.
You are right... a routing entry will give you some control over this situation.
What I did was create a routing entry in any subsystem I want to monitor for this type of activity. For example, I added this entry to subsystem QINTER:
