I would like to send an object (a compiled program or display file) through two iSeries'. I'd want to use data queue, but I don't know if is possible.
The simplest way to pass the objects is to save them into a save file. You can create a simple REXX procedure to read and write the save file data to a physical file with a record length of 528. If you are using a remote data queue, then you have SNA configured and running. If not, you can send the save file via FTP. Once at the destination, you need a REXX procedure to copy the data from the physical (again, record length of 528), and restore from the save file.
