Moving spool files from the iSeries

I've created a program to go through our various out queues and based on certain criteria, move the spool files to corresponding archive out queues. I now want to be able to move those archived spool files sitting in the outqueues from the iSeries to a network folder within a CL program -- this is being done manually via OpsNav. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can do the following:

* Instead of moving the required file to a different output queue you can use the SPL2STMF freeware. This freeware will copy a spool file to a stream file.

* The target directory to the stream file will be QNTC -- this is a virtual directory that reside on a remote NT.

More details on setting up QNTC support can be found here (it is very easy).

The SPL2STMF freeware can be downloaded from here.
