Maintaining library lists

We are migrating from an Advanced 36 to an iSeries. We want to know if we should keep all the procedures together in one library, the programs in another, the screen formats in yet another, etc. Would there be any advantage to that, or should we just dump them all into a production library?
My personal preference is to keep source code in one library and production objects in a separate library. There really is no advantage to it, and the only disadvantage may be that you have to make sure that you maintain your library lists properly.
