Locating mapped drives

When running Client Access Windows 95 (NT version V3R2M0), we could establish a connection to the iSeries from the "RUN" line in Windows by entering "as400 system name". Similarly, we could put commands like that in a batch file to establish a connection and do certain functions. (I.e. we used the DOS XFER command to send PC files to a shared folder on the iSeries). We now can't do this on Client Access Express V4R5. Do you have any suggestions on how to do this using Client Access Express V4R5?
Mapped drives in the iSeries environment is achieved by using NetServer support on the iSeries. See instruction on NetServer setup here.

After setting up NetServer and assigning a share, you can use command "net use q: \as400namesharename in your batch file.
