Issue a RUNRMTCMD

I am trying to use RUNRMTCMD in a CL to run a CL on another iSeries. Parameters are being passed. The problem is getting a response back using the variables to the calling program.

When you issue a RUNRMTCMD, the results of the command output are supposed to be returned in a spooled file on the local iSeries. I've never been able to make this work. The simplest way to do it is to create a Data Queue on each system. The local system should have the *STD data queue and the far system should have a *DDM data queue. Have the results on the far system write to the Data Queue and upon returning to the local program, have the current program read the Data Queue for the results.
