Is there a function key which will execute a PC program?

Is it possible from inside my RPG program to press a function key which will execute a PC program, allow the user to fill in whatever they wish in that PC program, and when it has ended, return to my RPG program where it left? Also, can I pass variable data back and forth between my RPG program and a PC program via something like parms, or is there another way this must be done? Are there any reference manuals with sample code showing how to do this?

You can use runrmtcmd to activate programon the PC. From RPG you can activate runrmtcmd via qcmdexc.

You can pass parameters to the PC program, it is more difficult to return messages back.
