We run an iSeries 400 720 on TCP/IP with Client Access installed. We get an error in between on some users as 'Internal License Error'. Could you please advise how to resolve it?
You are probably reaching the maximum licenses for the product. Client Access has many functions, some of them (for example 5250 emulation) require license. Any component of Client Access Express can be installed on the PC, whether the components require a license or not. The XW1 license will be checked at the point that the user tries to use a licensed function. You will get an error if you reach the maximum allowed. An explanation can be found here.
