How to permanently apply PTFs

One Search400.com member writes, "I have an iSeries 620 box running V5R1. I temporarily applied PTF (TL03175) on this box and then IPL it on the B side. The next day I did an IPL on A side and still find that the PTL is temporarily applied. I again tried to IPL on B side and then IPL on A side to get the same results. Do you know what I can do to permanently apply the PTFs." Rich Belles has a suggestion.

In order to have a PTF permanently applied to both the A and B side, you need to use the APYPTF command to set the PTFs to apply *PERM. At the next IPL, the system will take care of applying them to the A and B side.
