There are two different answers here depending on your particular situation. If you are upgrading to R520 and this is the first time you are putting PTFs onto your system, you must load and apply the cume package in its entirety (including IPL'ing the system) prior to loading and applying any group PTFs. If, on the other hand, you are just updating your system with the latest batch of PTFs, then you can do a GO PTF and take option 8, say N for "autoipl," and load your entire group PTFs. This will mark them to be applied at your next normal IPL. Once you are done loading the group PTFs, you can do another GO PTF, option 8 and load your cume PTFs. With this GO PTF, you can either choose to do an "autoipl" immediately or say N again and do the IPL at your leisure. When you do the IPL, it will temporarily apply both your group PTFs and cume PTFs with one IPL.
