How can I configure Operations Navigator to allow users to handle their own spool files and not spool files of others? We have V4R4 on our iSeries.
From the OpsNav window,
Then select OPTIONS INCLUDE from the menu bar at the top of the OPS NAV window. From this tab select the USER parameter and then specify "Current user"... Leave all the other parameters to the default values of 'All'
Now, whenever the user selects: SYSTEM
They will see only the spool files they created.
You may want to take a look at all these parameters. They give you a lot of control over what spool files you want OpsNav to select. Train your users on how to use these parameters to select just the print files they want to work with.
