Get a file from the Web directly from the iSeries

I need to download a file from a Web site to the IFS for use in an iSeries application on a regular basis. I can't use FTP for this. Currently I go to the site, right-click on a link and select "Save As". I am looking for a way to automate the download (perhaps submit a job from the job scheduler). Are there any APIs or QShell commands/utilities that can help with this request?
I would use the tool from Brad Stone to retrieve the file from the iSeries directly. You can find Brad's utility called GETURI at http://bvstools.com. The freeware version is called GETURI Lite and includes everything except the SSL routines.
