FTP to non QGPL

One user writes, "How can I send files from a PC running a VB program straight to a designated library within iSeries without going to QGPL? We have sales representatives that run Visual Basic (VB) programs to create orders from their laptops. Once they finish the order, we want the orders sent back to a designated library within the iSeries -- say RepOrder. I don't use iSeries Client Access in this case. If I use FTP it always go to QGPL, which I don't want." PC connectivity expert Shahar Mor shares his thoughts.

In the VB FTP add the command to change the server directory (i.e. cd reporders).
