I'm wondering how to set up Control Center to connect to my iSeries database. I'd like to have the same functionality over tables as I have on other connected databases. All I get from the Control Center is a list of tables from different libraries. There is no quick example/view or other functional options. Is it possible to get those functionalities, and if so, what do I have to do to get them?
Unfortunately, IBM Software has chosen not to fully support DB2 UDB for iSeries in DB2 Control Center. You will need to use iSeries Navigator, which offers similar capabilities and interfaces as Control Center. There are some tutorials that you can download for free to help you learn the DB2 interfaces available in iSeries Navigator.
