Create a share to a folder on the IFS

I have created a share to a folder on the IFS and given a user all authority. The user maps a drive through Windows NT. We cannot seem to get the user to be able to clear/write to existing files (which they also have all authority) without sticking *allobj authority on their 400 profile. We are running V4R4 @ ptflvl 00350. PS: I have not stopped/started Netserver since messing with the folder authorities and do not know if that is the problem.

I would definitely stop and start Netserver before proceeding any further into a resolution. Oftentimes that is enough to get it up and running properly.
