We have an application running on Oracle/Solaris. The data is also needed in an application in apps on our iSeries using DB2/400. Is there a way to connect the Oracle tables to DB2 so they appear as "native" DB2 tables?
There are a couple of methods available if your iSeries applications can use SQL. You'll find a "Heterogeneous Data Access for iSeries apps" white paper that summarizes your SQL options by visiting the "Articles & White Papers" section of the DB2 UDB for iSeries website.
