Is there any way from a CL program to check the status of all LPAR partitions from the primary partition? I need to know if the partitions are up, down, stopping or starting.
I haven't personally used these commands, but IBM has put together some LPAR-related commands that might be just what you are looking for. You can view them
here.
RTVLPARSTS looks particular promising.
