Change the IBM i system to allow only certain types of SSL protocol versions

Use the three new system values on V6R1 to control the encryption algorithm and SSL protocols allowed on your system.

I have configured Telnet and FTP connections with a certificate SSL in my system AS/400.

All connections are working fine, but when I scan my system looking for vulnerabilities, the results show that my system allows all types of SSL protocol versions, including SSLv2. The solution is to disable SSLv2 and just allow SSLv3 connections.

How can I change the system to only allow SSLv3 connections?

V6R1 provides three new system values that allow you to control the encryption algorithm and SSL protocols allowed on your system.
