I have been asked to automate the eIPl process on an 810 system that my company just acquired. I am thinking I could place the command in the IBM job scheduler to IPL the system every Sunday morning. But I am not sure if it will work that way. What are your thoughts?
Sure you can schedule the PWRDWNSYS command.... however, you probably want to take a look at scheduling IPL's using the Change Power Schedule Entry (CHGPWRSCDE) command... View the details
