Is there anyway to assign static device descriptions to workstations using Client Access Express? I would like to assign message queues for printer descriptions to certain devices using CA Express.
You can do what you are asking by specifying a workstation ID in Client Access Express. From a client Access Express session on your PC, select Communication pull down menu, then select Configure, put the name of the Workstation ID that you want, and press OK. Whenever your Client Access Express session starts up, it will look only for that device. If the device that you specify is not available (i.e. already in use by another session), then your Client Access session will not open.
