In the past, STORServer, Inc. and most of the Industry has shied away from using the Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS) from IBM along with the Tivoli iSeries Application Program Interface (API) to perform backup and restore to their Tivoli Server. But, with hardware and tuning improvements, STORServer, Inc. now shows acceptable, or better performance in both backups and restores. |
