About the White Paper:
As of V4R2, the OS/400 operating system has expanded the concept of journaling to include both local and remote journals. A local journal is one in which entries are deposited because of activity on the system on which the journal re-sides. It has all the characteristics that journals have had in the past: it must be created; it has attached receivers in which entries are deposited; and it is managed in the same way. In V4R2, however, local journals can also have one or more associated remote journals. |
