Dear John,
We use a third-party software that FTPs SAVFS to our IFS. Is there a way to restore the SAVFS to a 400 library straight from the IFS?

AUTOMATICALLY RGZPFM ALL PHYSICAL FILES | by Tim Granatir

Dear Tim,
Can I use PWRDWNSYS RESTART(*YES *FULL) to automatically RGZPFM all physical files? I would like to perform the RGZFPM on all files. I'm a little concerned with the amount of time it will take to execute this command.

RUNNING A BACKUP IN A RESTRICTED STATE | by Tim Granatir

Dear Tim,
I'm attempting to execute a weekly unattended backup CL program on system B from a CL program that resides on system A. The procedure works with SBMRMTCMD, but I wonder if this command will allow me to be in a restricted state on system B when I attempt to execute it. Do you know?
