Tip

Using BestFit scaling with PC5250 printer sessions

Using Client Access printers and having trouble printing 198 columns on one page? This tip may help. Navigate to C:Program FilesIBMClient AccessEmulatorPrivate and look for your "Printer.WS" file. This is the default location -- yours may be different. Right-click and use "Open With function" to open the file with Notepad. Do an edit search for "BestFit" if not found, insert the following. I usually add under the [5250] section.

BestFit=Y
Do a File Save and then open the printer session and give it a try.
