Learn how to copy spooled files from one system to another using the iSeries (Operations) Navigator.
If you have several iSeries servers, and want to copy spooled files from one system to an other, there is no need to use the green-screen CPYNETSPLF command. You can simply use iSeries Navigator to do this.
1. Navigate to Basic Operations/Printer Output on the source system.
2. Navigate to Basic Operations/Printers on the target system.
3. On the source system, select the spooled file you want to copy and drag it to the printer on the target system.
For this tip to work, the target system must be identified in the source system's host table (CFGTCP option 10).
