Editing a source member without SEU

You can editing a source member without SEU if your iSeries 400 is on V4R4 or later by using the EDTF command. This command is typically used for editing files in the iSeries integrated file system, but you can also use it to edit a source member.

If you're at an earlier release than V4R4, you can obtain EDTF through the following PTFs: SF49052 (V4R3), SF45296 (V4R2), SF41518 (V4R1), and SF38832 (V3R7).
